'It was shocking, I felt unsafe' — Emeka Ike threatens legal action over data leak

Nollywood actor and politician Emeka Ike, a House of Representatives aspirant under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), expressed outrage after his personal data was allegedly leaked by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He said he felt unsafe and vulnerable, calling the incident an abuse of power and political radicalism. Ike confirmed he has commenced legal action against Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. His legal team has also written to INEC, his party, the DSS, and the Nigeria Police Force.
