Chad: Tine Two Months After Repeated Attacks At the Border

Since early February 2026, drone strikes by the Sudanese Armed Forces and Rapid Support Forces have injured 457 people in Tine, Chad, where Médecins Sans Frontières is providing medical support. The attacks have had severe consequences for civilians, including ethnic violence and mass executions. Despite precarious security conditions, MSF has treated severely injured patients, including six children, and had to transfer its operations to a new hospital due to bombardments.
