Chelsea captain Millie Bright announces retirement from football

Chelsea women's captain Millie Bright has announced her retirement from football at the age of 32, after making 294 appearances for the club since 2015. She also earned 88 caps for England and was instrumental in the Lionesses' Euro 2022 victory. Bright won a total of 20 trophies with Chelsea, including eight Women's Super League titles and six FA Cups. She will remain involved with the club as an ambassador and trustee of the foundation.
