Cité Fayçal: A Chinese national shot dead at home, the murder story

On the night of July 14-15, 2026, a 52-year-old Chinese national, Wang Guanglun, was shot dead in his villa in Cité Fayçal, at the Cambérène crossroads in Senegal. Another Chinese man, Yu Shuang, was seriously injured with a bladed weapon. Two armed individuals entered around 3:30 a.m. by scaling the back wall. One suspect was apprehended after being injured jumping from the first floor, while his accomplice remains at large. The investigation is led by the Urban Security Unit of the Central Police Station in Dakar.
