The Kenyan government has confirmed that civil servants will receive a salary increase starting July 1, 2026. Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku stated that the ministry is in the final stages of negotiating a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that will guide salary reviews for the next four years. While several meetings have been held with the Kenya Union of Civil Servants, a few issues remain unresolved, including the method of implementing the salary increase.
