Cokotcha Festival 7: Culture in Service of Social Cohesion and Peace

The 7th edition of the Cokotcha Festival took place from April 4 to 6, 2026, at the boys' orphanage in Bingerville, bringing together several ethnic groups, including the Dida and Guéré. The festival's general commissioner, Ahin Jean, emphasized the social importance of the event, inviting attendees to support the orphanage's residents. A giant buffet allowed communities to share local dishes, further strengthening bonds of brotherhood. Awards were also presented to celebrate contributions to the arts and culture.
