Comedian DeeOne emerges party candidate for Lagos House of Assembly

Popular comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate Aderombi Adedayo Martins, known as DeeOne, has won the BOOT Party primary for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I ahead of the 2027 Lagos State House of Assembly elections. He announced his emergence on Instagram, thanking party members and pledging to be a worker, not a boss, for the constituency. DeeOne joins a growing list of Nigerian entertainers transitioning into active politics.
