Social Challenge 2025 Competition: LONACI Celebrates Journalism for Humanity

On April 9, 2026, the National Lottery of Côte d'Ivoire (LONACI) awarded the winners of the 8th edition of the 'Social Challenge', with Fatou Sylla from Fraternité Matin winning first prize. The prizes have been increased, with the winner receiving 3 million FCFA. LONACI's Director General, Dramane Coulibaly, emphasized the importance of recognizing journalistic merit. The 9th edition of the competition is now open to Ivorian journalists.
