Congolese youth organizes and advocates for peace and post-conflict recovery

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, youth leaders from the Ligne de l’Émergence ASBL have developed an advocacy document for peace and post-conflict recovery following a diplomatic summit in November 2025. This document is addressed to the Congolese government, the African Union, the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region, and MONUSCO. Youth leaders, including Evariste Kimba and Hélène Okako, emphasize the importance of involving young people in peace processes and propose solutions to strengthen social cohesion and combat misinformation.
