ADC national convention: Security beefed up as 7000 delegates elect new NWC

Security has been heightened around the Rainbow Event Center in Abuja, where the African Democratic Congress (ADC) national convention is taking place. Approximately 7,000 delegates are expected to elect the new National Working Committee (NWC) of the party. Despite attempts to cancel the event, Senator Dino Melaye stated that the convention would proceed as planned, despite challenges faced in securing a venue.
