Convention: Setback for ADC as event centre proprietor withdraws permission to use facility

The planned national convention of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) faced a setback after the proprietor of Rainbow Event Centre in Abuja withdrew permission for the party to use the facility. Party's National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, stated that the venue owner was pressured by the Federal Capital Development Authority and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. Despite this, the ADC intends to proceed with its convention as planned.
