Corporate Governance: 21 New Certified Directors to Strengthen Standards in the UEMOA Zone

Twenty-one senior executives from the UEMOA region received their Corporate Directors Certificate (CAS) at a ceremony in Abidjan on April 8, 2026, sponsored by BCEAO Governor Jean-Claude Kassi Brou. Among the graduates, seven are women, having completed a rigorous training program. The governor emphasized the importance of good governance for the sustainability of organizations and urged the new certificate holders to demonstrate rigor and independence. INAD-CI Chair Viviane Zunon-Kipré stated that the CAS UEMOA is essential for professionalizing the role of directors.
