The Director General of Sen’Eau clarified the situation regarding a supposed water cut in Médina Baye following his meeting with the Khalife. He stated that the water service remains operational and that the dispute only involves the Kaolack municipality, with an outstanding amount of 218 million CFA francs in unpaid bills. Part of this amount, 22 million CFA francs, is related to consumption attributed to the mosque. The DG called for calm and continued discussions to resolve the dispute.
