Crisis in Mali - instability in the Sahel: the urgency of a collective response to a new migratory crisis

The Sahel, with Mali at its epicenter, is facing political instability and security degradation that exacerbate migratory dynamics. Forced displacements and survival migrations are increasing, revealing the flaws of a regional order unable to guarantee security and dignity. A collective and integrated response is necessary, involving coordination among Sahelian states and their neighbors, as well as with regional and international organizations.
