DSO Crisis: STB manufacturers accuse NBC of power abuse, urge Tinubu’s intervention

The Association of Licensed Set Top Box Manufacturers of Nigeria (STBMAN) has accused the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) of abusing regulatory processes, jeopardizing Nigeria's digital switch-over (DSO) project. STBMAN Chairman Godfrey Ohuabunwa expressed concerns about the NBC's confrontational attitude, which he claims hinders progress. He also criticized the NBC's plans to import hybrid set-top boxes from China, violating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's 'Nigeria First' policy.
