The Ivorian coffee-cocoa sector is facing a crisis characterized by the accumulation of 102,000 tons of cocoa in cooperative warehouses. During a press conference on April 9, 2026, Minister Bruno Koné reassured sector stakeholders, while the OIA welcomed the cancellation of quotas assigned to private operators to redirect stock management in favor of producers. Additionally, a supplementary quota of 23,830 tons was allocated to the OIA by the Coffee-Cocoa Council.
