A new study by Moniepoint shows that digital payment infrastructure is transforming Nigeria's food service industry, valued at $11.09 billion in 2025 and projected to reach $19.31 billion by 2030. Food and beverage businesses have become the second-largest merchant category on Moniepoint's platform. The report highlights that 86.8% of businesses in accommodation and food services are women-owned, and Nigeria's unmet MSME financing demand stands at $32.2 billion.
