Cyberbullying Tinubu: Court fixes May 8 to rule on Sowore's no-case submission

Justice Mohammed Garba Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja has set May 8, 2026, to rule on the no-case submission made by activist Omoyele Sowore, who is charged with cyberbullying President Bola Tinubu. Sowore's counsel argued that the prosecution failed to link him to the alleged offenses, while the DSS contended that a prima facie case had been established against him. The DSS is prosecuting Sowore on behalf of the Federal Government in an amended cyberbullying charge.
