In the second stage of the International Tour of Cameroon, between Figuil and Garoua (97.2 km), Congolese Joël Kyaviro from Goma finished 8th with a time of 2h27m1s and an average speed of 39.67 km/h. The stage was won by Algerian Assal Mohamed Nadjib, tying with Kyaviro. In the first stage, the Congolese Leopards placed 23rd after a crash that cost a young talent a podium finish.
