Adebutu decries neglect of Ogun border communities, promises development commission

Oladipupo Adebutu, the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State, pledged to establish a Border Communities Development Commission to address long-standing neglect in Ogun West if elected in 2027. He made the promise during his campaign launch in Ipokia, criticizing the abandonment of border communities lacking basic amenities such as roads, clean water, and healthcare facilities. He also committed to granting full autonomy to local governments and ensuring grassroots development funds are directly allocated to councils.
