Coupe Icare: Former Euronews journalist Rhal Ssan dies in deltaplane crash in Isère

A deltaplane crashed in Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet, Isère, on September 20, killing pilot Rhal Ssan, 29, and passenger Nadège Chiffot, 45. The accident occurred during the 53rd edition of the Coupe Icare shortly after takeoff due to a technical issue. Rhal Ssan, a former journalist at Euronews, was also a lecturer at Grenoble-Alpes University, while Nadège Chiffot was in training to obtain her pilot's license. The Coupe Icare organization suspended its aerial program in tribute to the victims.
