APM condemns death of 37 Nigerians in NSCDC custody, demands probe

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) condemned the death of 37 Nigerians in NSCDC custody in Minna, Niger State, and called for a transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding these deaths. The party rejected the explanation that the victims were illegal miners, emphasizing that 66 people were held in a single cell, where 37 reportedly died from excessive heat after allegedly being sprayed with an unidentified substance. The APM also condemned the use of ammunition and tear gas against protesters who were demonstrating against these deaths.
