Keiko Fujimori, candidate of the Fuerza Popular party, is running for the presidency for the fourth time. She became first lady at age 19 after her parents' divorce. Despite her long political career, she lost the previous three elections to lesser-known candidates. This year, she is neck-and-neck with leftist rival Roberto Sánchez in the runoff on June 7.
