Jean-Claude Kouyo, an Ivorian aeronautical engineer aged 57, died on May 31, 2026 in Abidjan. Trained at EMPT in Bingerville, the French Air Force Technical School in Rochefort, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology (Oklahoma), and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, he worked at FlightSafety International as an analyst and later as international marketing and sales director for Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. He dedicated his life to modernizing aviation in Africa.
