Start of the 1st conference on agriculture, tourism, and water in Kindu

The city of Kindu in Maniema is hosting the first edition of the conference dedicated to agriculture, environment, tourism, and water from April 8 to 10, gathering over 500 participants. The Minister of Environment, Marie Nyange Ndambo, emphasized the importance of this event to promote the riches of Maniema and attract foreign investments. She highlighted the province's natural assets, including the forest massif, water resources, and the mining sector, aiming to turn these resources into tangible benefits for the local economy.
