Start of the validation workshop for the forestry policy in the DRC

From April 2 to 4, 2026, nearly 500 state and non-state actors are gathering in Kinshasa for the validation workshop of the forestry policy in the DRC, supported by the AFD and other partners. The aim is to develop a sustainable forestry policy that will contribute to combating climate change and conserving biodiversity. The Minister of Environment encouraged participants to actively engage in this process.
