Beginning of the integration process of the GENOCOST narrative into the school curriculum of the DRC

The Ministry of National Education of the DRC initiated the integration process of the GENOCOST narrative into primary and secondary education curricula during a workshop in Kinshasa on May 16, 2026. A national training guide and adapted teaching tools are being developed to support this reform. The narrative will be integrated across several subjects, aiming to strengthen national unity and transform collective memory.
