Delivery driver murdered in Cocody: images of the attack, confessions of suspects and concerns of a profession

Koné Amidou, a Yango delivery driver, was murdered on the night of July 5-6, 2026 in Cocody Les Vallons. Surveillance footage released by the National Police shows the violent attack where he was struck on the head with a bladed weapon before his motorcycle was stolen. Four suspects have been arrested, including two alleged perpetrators, and a knife, a claw bar, and a USB key containing the images were seized. The case renews concerns about the safety of couriers in Abidjan.
