Delta South: Joel-Onowakpo, Diden rekindle battle for senatorial seat

Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and Michael Diden, who contested the Delta South senatorial election in 2023, are preparing for a new competition for the APC party primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections. Joel-Onowakpo, the previous election winner, and Diden, known as Ejele, will compete together for the party's ticket. They will be joined by Chief Malik Itiako Ikpokpo, a former chairman of the Association of Local Governments in Nigeria.
