Three oil-laden supertankers have passed through the Strait of Hormuz amid a fragile truce between the United States and Iran. Iran's blockade of this crucial strait, which accounts for about 20% of global oil shipments, has disrupted energy supplies and driven oil prices up since the onset of the US-Israel war on Iran. The VLCC Serifos, chartered by Thai state-owned energy firm PTT, is expected to arrive at Malaysia's Malacca Port on April 21.
