Troops rescue seven kidnap victims along Riyom highway in Plateau

Troops of Operation Enduring Peace rescued seven travelers abducted by suspected kidnappers near Sopp village on the Riyom highway in Plateau State. The operation followed a distress call at about 9:30 p.m. on Monday. The victims, including ASP Babagida Ishaku, Auwulu Haruna, and Dung Jerry Dang, were traveling from Akwanga to Jos when intercepted. All were rescued unharmed, while efforts to track down the fleeing suspects continue.
