Alleged defamation: DSS detains, releases Kano govt officials over Kwankwaso's petition

The Department of State Services (DSS) granted bail to several officials of the Kano State Government following a petition filed by former governor Rabiu Kwankwaso regarding alleged cyberbullying and defamation on social media. The officials, including Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa and Ibrahim Adam, were questioned for about four hours before being released. Kwankwaso accuses these officials of conducting coordinated attacks aimed at undermining his reputation and that of members of his political movement.
