Two communities dispute the management of the Ndoka forest in Luilu

Clashes are occurring between the Bena Ahanga and Bena Ndoka communities in the Luilu territory of Lomami province over the management of the Ndoka forest, which has become strategic for the timber trade. Chief Fidao Binene Binene claims that the village of Ndoka is part of his chiefdom, while the territory administrator disputes this, stating that no legal documents have been found to confirm the village's administrative existence.
