Two dead and two kidnapped in an armed ambush on the Kitako axis in Kalemie

Two people were killed and two others kidnapped in an armed ambush that occurred on Friday, April 10, on the Kitako axis in the Kalemie territory. Armed men attacked a vehicle returning from a mining site operated by Chinese nationals, abducting a Chinese national and his Congolese interpreter. The security agent was killed while trying to fight back, and the driver, seriously injured, died shortly after being transferred to the hospital.
