Tinubu’s Kaduna rally won’t save him in 2027, Makinde campaign says

The Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organization says Bola Tinubu’s planned campaign launch in Kaduna will not secure his re-election in 2027. It urged voters to back Allied Peoples Movement presidential candidate Seyi Makinde and his RESET NIGERIA Agenda.

Diri defended the development potential of coastal communities and thanked the president for backing the road project, which he said could address poverty and the dehumanising conditions faced by the region.

On the program “A Look at the Week’s News,” Me Jean Claude Katende says that conflicting statements and silence surrounding the creation of the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation (FRN) demonstrate the complexity of Joseph Kabila’s choice. The program also examines stalled peace processes in eastern DR Congo, where meetings and discussions have brought no change on the ground. It further reports on the temporary suspension of new admissions to Makala Central Prison, which holds at least 16,155 people despite being designed for 1,500, including 303 women and 201 minors.
