Diaz-Canel open to US aid amid worsening fuel crisis in Cuba

However, he emphasized that the best way to alleviate the suffering of the Cuban people would be to lift the trade embargo imposed by the US. His remarks came after a $100 million aid offer was made by the US government, contingent upon significant reforms in Cuba.
