EFCC sacks over 40 staff for corruption, prosecutes 5 others

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, announced the dismissal of over 40 staff members for corruption and financial malpractice in the last three years. Currently, five staff members are being prosecuted for corrupt practices. Olukoyede emphasized the importance of maintaining accountability standards within the agency while introducing a gift policy to enhance transparency.
