Agboville: 101 Blood Bags Collected During Campaign at Regional Hospital

The second edition of the blood donation campaign at the Regional Public Hospital (EPHR) of Agboville collected 101 blood bags on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The initiative, in collaboration with the Agboville Departmental Blood Transfusion Center (CDTS), aimed to reduce the blood product deficit during school holidays, a period when donations drop due to students' absence. EPHR director Claver-Fabius Savié Essoh donated blood himself to encourage staff, while head of hemovigilance Dr. Kipré Danielle highlighted the shortage of blood products in several departments. Tano Niamien from CDTS emphasized the need for awareness to save lives.
