Dual party membership: CSO warns of growing electoral fraud in Nigeria

The civil society organization, the Centre for Democratic Accountability and Transparency, has raised concerns about dual party membership in Nigeria, describing it as a serious threat to the democratic process. Executive Director Dr. Musa Ibrahim stated that this trend allows politicians to gain unfair advantages during elections. He called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to strengthen its monitoring mechanisms and enforce stricter penalties against offenders.
