Due to lack of electricity, Cimencam Figuil suspends production one year after its plant inauguration

One year after its inauguration, the Cimencam Figuil (Cimfig) plant, a subsidiary of LafargeHolcim-Maroc Afrique, has suspended production due to electricity supply restrictions in the Northern Interconnected Network, caused by a major energy crisis in the North region. Socadel notified Cimfig of temporary curtailment measures for its production site. The company states that this measure is beyond its control.
