Yaoundé: Cook Assaulted at Home Mistaken for Betting Winner

On Sunday evening in Yaoundé, Tsama Jean, a cook, was assaulted at his home by armed individuals who believed he had won 15 million FCFA on the betting platform 1xBet. Unable to provide the money, he was tortured by his attackers. Although one of the criminals admitted they had the wrong target, they still stole the victim's personal savings before fleeing.
