Togo: the white voodoo stone heralds a prosperous year

Togo is set to experience a prosperous year according to the white voodoo stone, revealed during the annual Epe-Ekpe or Ekpessosso festival. This event marks the beginning of the ancestral new year for the Guin people and gathered hundreds of people at Glidji-Kpodji near Aneho. Wlomo Nomo Combietey VIII Nii Labite, the guardian of the sacred forest, explained that the stone determines how the ancestors will live the future.
