Taraba 2027: Kefas, Sambo, Kente Join APC Race

The race for the 2027 governorship election in Taraba State is gaining momentum with Governor Agbu Kefas, former Minister of Transportation Mu'azu Jaji Sambo, and APC chieftain Chief David Sabo Kente entering the contest. Kefas, seeking a second term, received his expression of interest forms from state lawmakers and National Assembly members. Kente was supported by stakeholders across the 16 local government areas, while Sambo expressed a preference for a direct primary system to ensure a level playing field.
