Lone Kaizer Chiefs star included in Pitso Mosimane's first Bafana Bafana squad

Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has named his preliminary squad for the 2027 AFCON qualifiers against Guinea and Eritrea, as well as an international friendly against Egypt. Notably, only one Kaizer Chiefs player was included in the selection. Mosimane will officially begin his tenure on September 26 with a home match against Guinea, followed by an away game against Eritrea and a friendly in Cairo on October 4.
