A regional workshop revealed that 5.4% of young people begin their sexual life before the age of 15, and about 15% of adolescent girls experience sexual violence before the age of 18. These situations lead to early pregnancies, school dropouts, and health issues. Senegal is intensifying its efforts with national plans and care centers for victims, while calling for collective mobilization to address the root causes of these issues.
