Easter tragedy: Gov Alia condemns killing of nine, razing of houses in Benue attack

At least nine people were killed in an attack by suspected armed herdsmen in the Agena community of Gwer East Local Government Area in Benue State. The attackers also set fire to several houses, including the community market and food barns. A resident reported that over 50 attackers invaded the community around 5 a.m., killing innocent people without provocation. The Security Adviser to the Local Government Chairman confirmed that several individuals are still missing.
