Eastern Libya Government declares fee waiver for foreigners

The Eastern Libya Government has announced a three-month fee waiver for foreign residents living or working in the region. This initiative, effective from April 1, 2026, aims to alleviate the financial burden on foreigners who have accumulated penalties due to expired residency visas. The decision, formalized under Resolution No. (61) of 2026, encourages the regularization of migrants' legal status.
