Ebola: UNICEF hands over 100 motorcycles to the governor of Ituri for response

On May 26, 2026, UNICEF's resident representative in the DRC, John Agbor, handed over 100 motorcycles to General Johnny Luboya Nkashama, the governor of Ituri, to strengthen the response against Ebola. This logistical support aims to ensure a rapid response to limit the spread of the virus. Additionally, the United Nations Population Fund also provided an ambulance to the Ituri province.
