On May 8, 2026, the official launch of the feasibility study for the Bouaké Logistics and Industrial Zone (ZLIB) took place at the Bouaké Town Hall. This project, supported by Minister Amadou KONÉ, aims to make Bouaké a major logistics hub in West Africa by decongesting the Port Autonome d'Abidjan and creating sustainable jobs. The selected site covers approximately 550 hectares near the Sakassou interchange, and the government declared the project of public utility by decree in February 2025.
