Edo LG Poll: Oshiomhole, Ex-Deputy Gov's cousins, Jarret PA emerges APC chairmanship candidates

Cousins of Senator Adams Oshiomhole and former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Imasuen, were elected as APC chairmanship candidates for the July 11, 2026, local government elections. Romeo Omoike and Eriamatoe Christopher were elected for Etsako West and Ovia North-East Local Governments, respectively. Seven incumbent chairmen were reelected while 11 were not, and the voting process was praised for its orderliness and peace.
